Bikes need regular maintenance and occasional repairs to keep in tip-top condition to ensure they're safe and enjoyable to ride

Brendon and Merrick in our large in-store workshop are onhand to help with your bike maintenance and repairs.

Most bikes that are ridden regularly - whether they're mountain or road bikes - cop a fair bit of wear and tear. And it's probably well overdue time to bring your bike in to us to get it back in shape.

As a bare minimum, we recommend you get us to do a basic service every 12 months. For those who are serious about biking, an advanced service gives you a more comprehensive tune-up, and the ultimate services adds in some custom tuning as well to really step it up.

Basic service

Bikes need a regular service every 6-12 months, depending on how much use they get.

A Basic service includes checking:

  • ring and rear cluster

  • wear on the brake pads

  • forks and rear shocks

  • suspension linkages and bearings

  • bottom bracket and headset bearings

  • drive train (if worn a new chain may be required - which helps prolong the life of the front chain)

Generally this takes 1-2 days.

Advanced service

Every so often a more advanced service is advised, especially for bikes that get a regular thrashing and prior to competitions or big rides.

Our Advanced service covers the basics outlined above and more, plus we can address any specific concerns you have.

Generally this takes 2-3 days.

Ultimate service

For those who dream about their bike, the Ultimate service is for you.

As well as the all outlined in the Advanced service above, we will work with you on customising your bike to your riding style and goals.

Depending on the level of work required, this would take 3-4 days.
